Electrician services in Eastern Connecticut

I recently hired O’connell’s electric for a complete service upgrade from 100-amp to 200-amp, along with some additional wiring. From start to finish, the work was executed to the highest professional standard—clean, precise, and fully code-compliant. What truly stood out was Michael’s exceptional approach to the job. He was incredibly polite and courteous, took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, and answered all of our questions in clear, easy-to-understand terms. The upgrade was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to our home, and the final result is outstanding. Beyond the technical expertise, he is simply an excellent human being—patient, respectful, and genuinely caring about doing the job right. I felt completely confident and well-informed throughout the entire project. I highly recommend Michael from O’Connell Electric to anyone needing electrical work. Professional, trustworthy, and truly top-tier. We will definitely use their services again and will be referring them to family and friends. Thank you for the outstanding work!

Mike is thorough and competent. He solved electrical issues that I could not. He’s prompt and tidy. His rates are reasonable. He doesn’t try to upsell you.

Mike kept us informed all the way through our projects. He gave us a great price for the jobs we needed. I’d suggest Mike to anyone looking for electrical work.

I requested the job get done on a Thursday Between 9 AM and 5 PM and Mike made it happen. Mike showed Up on time and the new 200 amp service was finished by 3 PM. Mike did a professional job, cleaned up and was very polite. I plan on hiring him again and will refer my friends who need electrical work done to Mike without any hesitation.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company. The professionalism and level of expertise blew my mind. This coupled with how kind and understanding they were, I felt like they really cared! I would highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs!!!
