I recently hired O’connell’s electric for a complete service upgrade from 100-amp to 200-amp, along with some additional wiring. From start to finish, the work was executed to the highest professional standard—clean, precise, and fully code-compliant. What truly stood out was Michael’s exceptional approach to the job. He was incredibly polite and courteous, took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, and answered all of our questions in clear, easy-to-understand terms. The upgrade was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to our home, and the final result is outstanding. Beyond the technical expertise, he is simply an excellent human being—patient, respectful, and genuinely caring about doing the job right. I felt completely confident and well-informed throughout the entire project. I highly recommend Michael from O’Connell Electric to anyone needing electrical work. Professional, trustworthy, and truly top-tier. We will definitely use their services again and will be referring them to family and friends. Thank you for the outstanding work!

Michael O'Connell is an excellent electrician. He came and gave me an estimate the day after I called him. Then came and installed chandeliers for me about a day later. He actually calls you back or texts, shows up on time, cleans up after the work is done. Also,I think fair pricing. Very efficient person. Very easy to work with as well. I highly recommend Michael, can't say enough nice things about him. Lisa Maynard,Old Lyme

I requested the job get done on a Thursday Between 9 AM and 5 PM and Mike made it happen. Mike showed Up on time and the new 200 amp service was finished by 3 PM. Mike did a professional job, cleaned up and was very polite. I plan on hiring him again and will refer my friends who need electrical work done to Mike without any hesitation.

He took the time to explain what needed to be done and ensured everything was up to code and working perfectly before he left. It’s hard to find reliable help these days, but Mike exceeded my expectations. Clean work and great communication—I highly recommend them!
